What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and iterate policy language collaboratively with a team of specialists
- Analyze USPS policies for regulatory, legal, and best-practice compliance
- Facilitate productive interactions with clients during meetings and communications
- Recommend and document the elimination of outdated policies and necessary language changes
- Create and manage documentation in Microsoft Excel and prepare PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, such as policy or public administration
- 3+ years of policy experience in analysis, drafting, writing, and/or consulting
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance
- Ability to write and communicate clearly in a highly sensitive environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment on expedited timelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 7+ years of policy experience in analysis, drafting, writing, and/or consulting
- Juris Doctorate (JD), Master’s in Public Policy (MPP), or Master’s in Public Administration (MPA)
- Experience with the U.S. Postal Service
- Training in Agile, Scrum, and/or Lean Six Sigma
- Experience briefing executive leaders
