- Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
- Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests.
- Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study.
- Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations
- Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director.
- Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when applicable.
- Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.
- The CPSGT/RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director
- Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist required
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT) is required
- Licensed Sleep Technologist is required
- Current CPR (BCLS) Certification
- Scoring experience preferred
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred
