POSITION

In this position you will work primarily with portfolio managers within systematic investment teams in managing client portfolios. In fulfilling this responsibility, you will also work closely with trading in seeing trades are executed as directed; operations for trade settlement and cash flows; and compliance to be sure resulting portfolio adheres to any restrictions. Through this position, you will have the unique ability to follow a trade throughout its life cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement portfolio managers’ strategic investment decisions across client portfolios.
• Cash Management – maintaining appropriate equitized cash levels within portfolios.
• Partnering with portfolio managers and other groups across firm in overseeing execution of complex transactions.
• Manage collateral across client portfolios.
• Maintain strategy/account documentation.

CANDIDATE

Our ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable working with investment professionals at various levels and who possesses a strong desire to grow within the asset management business.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 0 - 5 years asset management experience in a front or middle office role.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours as required.
• Basic understanding of market structures.
• Willingness to learn.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with various software packages involving:
  • Market Data (FactSet, Bloomberg)
  • Order Management Systems
  • Portfolio Accounting
• Basic knowledge of SQL and VBA is a plus.
