      Role Purpose

      As the Global Portfolio Marketing Manager for Cybersecurity, your mission is to drive product success through strategic positioning, messaging and external content that resonates with our target audiences. You will understand our customers' needs and pain points and translate those insights into compelling product stories that differentiate us from the competition, while constantly monitoring the market and adapting our approach to ensure continued success.

      The materials you produce will enable our Global and Regional sales & marketing teams to clearly communicate the value of our products and services to customers of all sizes (SOHO to Global MNCs) across various global geographies and win in a competitive marketplace.

      As a member of the Portfolio Marketing team, you will work closely with Marketing colleagues, Portfolio Product Management, Go-to-Market, Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Analyst Relations, and other stakeholder teams in Group and OpCo’s (Operating Countries).

      The successful candidate must be passionate about security, have prior experience in technical/product marketing, ideally in the cybersecurity industry, and understand the needs and challenges faced by cybersecurity buyers.

      Key accountabilities and decision ownership

      • Develop and deliver the annual Portfolio Marketing Plan for our Global Cyber Security portfolios
      • Be the subject-matter-expert in understanding portfolio buyers and the Decision Making Unit (DMU), their challenges and drivers for product purchases
      • Identifying our ‘right to win’ and ‘right to play’ through detailed knowledge of customers, competitors and the industry
      • Establish our differentiated positioning, messaging & product naming for all products in the portfolio through cross-functional collaboration
      • Work closely with our Technology Partner Managers and Partners (Accenture, Fortinet, Lookout, Microsoft, Palo Alto, TrendMicro, Zscaler to name a few) to develop joint value-propositions and market-leading collateral
      • Develop, and manage the delivery of, a programme of customer-facing content, product thought-leadership and collateral that Sales & Marketing Teams need to tell our story and win/accelerate orders
      • Distribute Positioning/Messaging and Content Toolkits to Group & OpCo Sales & Marketing Teams, optimising usage and activation
      • Be the lead point-of-contact for allocated projects
      • Present to senior stakeholders and key Partners, when needed
      • Maintain an up-to-date activity calendar and reporting for all portfolio marketing activities
      • Manage all activities within agreed budgets and timescales

      Core competencies, knowledge and experience

      • Expert working knowledge of technology product marketing
      • In-depth understanding of the Cyber Security market, opportunities, key players and future trends
      • An understanding of buying segments, audiences, their needs and buying journeys
      • Experience in building marketing content aligned to buyer needs
      • Evidence of an ability to work across a highly matrixed business
      • Outcomes and results driven mindset
      • Proven ability to multitask and run cross-functional initiatives and projects
      • Ability to simplify complex information
      • Excellent written communication, presentation and story-telling skills.

      Must have technical / professional qualifications:

      • Product Marketing experience
      • Degree / Marketing qualification desirable
      • Knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies essential,
      • Knowledge of Cloud & Connectivity technologies desirable
