Job Description

- Design, create, and maintain test scenarios and test cases with clear steps and expected results.
- Identify, manage, and maintain test data across environments.
- Execute functional and integration tests to verify system performance and compliance.
- Document test execution and defects using tools such as HP ALM or similar platforms.
- Troubleshoot and analyze defects to facilitate quick resolution.
- Communicate test progress, risks, and issues effectively to Test Leads or Team Leads.
- Collaborate with technical and functional partners to ensure smooth execution.
- 5-7 years of experience testing Point-of-Sale (POS) systems in a retail environment.
- Experience with data validation, test script creation, and managing upstream/downstream systems.
- Familiarity with tools such as HP ALM, Quality Center, JIRA, or similar defect/test management platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and functional testing processes.
- Bonus: Fluency in French or Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) to assist with POS translations.
- Bonus: Experience with SQL, ETL processes, or Jump Mind POS systems.
POS Tester
Columbus, OH (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
We are seeking an experienced Point-of-Sale (POS) Tester to be part of the Testing Center of Excellence. This position will be part of a high performing quality assurance team participating in the delivery of quality software. This role is responsible for performing testing activities in partnership with developers, business analysts, functional/product owners, and project managers, to verify code and check conformance to system requirements.
