      Summary of Job Duties:

      The Position Control and Staffing Analyst, under direction of the DPC Chief of Staff, the Position Control and Staffing Analyst, performs a wide variety of complex technical, specialized and responsible position control functions in support of the organizations position control and related to all employment. This person will provides information and assistance to organizational staff regarding a variety of position control policies and procedures.


      Qualifications:

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in education, human resources, business, accounting, budget, finance, or a related area.

      • Three (3) years of work experience in human resources, data analysis and accountability, position control/management and staffing, budget, finance, and/or related areas.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Master’s degree in education, human resources, business, accounting, budget, finance, or a related area.

      • Five (5) years of work experience in human resources, data analysis and accountability, position control/management and staffing, budget, finance, and/or related areas.


      Additional Information:

      Responsibilities:

      • Receives, reviews, processes and tracks all position requests and position management review requests; prepares the weekly agenda for the Workforce Review Committee (WFRC); tracks requests through completion in Workday, updates requests in Workday based on decisions from the WFRC

      • Works with and provides assistance to organizational leaders on position control matters; generates specialized reports; compiles data as requested; answers all correspondence, etc.

      • Serves as liaison with organizational leaders to maintain the integrity of position management

      • Develops and participates in staff training for position control operations and related position management activities

      • Maintains operational internal controls and recommends changes to procedures or policies to improve data quality and efficiencies in the process

      • Performs other duties as assigned
