      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage administrative and financial aspects of sponsored research awards for designated college sub-units
      - Initiate grant setup by reviewing award documents and setting up grant accounts in the university financial system
      - Handle budget initiation and modifications, creating budget spreadsheets, and maintaining compliance
      - Oversee subaward administration, including process initiation, modification, and expenditure monitoring
      - Coordinate closeout actions for completed awards, ensuring all administrative tasks and certifications are completed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree or higher
      - Minimum of three years of experience in research administration or related positions
      - Demonstrated experience with grant setup, budget management, and compliance assessment
      - Strong analytical skills for financial reporting and monitoring award balances
      - Knowledge of university research policies and federal Uniform Guidance

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with subaward administration and financial analysis in a research setting
      - Familiarity with the university financial system and sponsor-format financial reporting
