      The Position

This 3 years limited-term position is part of a larger project with the aim of developing a simulation tool to predict short- and long-term outcomes of chronic diseases, such as diabetes and obesity, and the impact of treatment on these outcomes, to inform drug development at different stages. The project involves three post-docs/scientists collaborating closely and with specialists from various areas, including data science, modelling, and medical sciences. External collaboration with organizations and universities is also possible.

In this position within the Pharmacometrics department at Novo Nordisk Data Science, you'll exclusively focus on the simulation tool project. You will have the opportunity to develop new PK-PD models based on clinical data and collaborate with two other post-docs/scientists within the project, who will deliver risk models and develop the overall simulation tool.

      In addition you will:

      • Develop and implement PK-PD models for relevant biomarkers based on clinical data
      • Plan and execute the PK-PD modelling activities within the project
      • Actively collaborate with project participants to execute the tasks within the project
      • Write scientific publications to document the tool and your findings

With the collaboration with two other post-docs/scientists in the project, you'll contribute to risk models and the overall development of the simulation tool. Additionally, specialists with diverse backgrounds will be available for guidance. The role provides the opportunity to influence drug development across various stages within the organization.
