Summary of Job Duties:

The Post-Doctoral position will be in the research group of Dr. Jennifer Guimbellot, in the Department of Pediatrics, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. This position will work on projects relating to the use of Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator (CFTR) modulator therapy in patients with cystic fibrosis, to understand better how to personalize and optimize the use of the medications in children and adults with cystic fibrosis. Qualifications:

PharmD or PhD in a related field required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with electronic medical records, data collection, basic analysis, and scientific writing.

• Required to apply for a Post-Doctoral research fellowship award during the first year of the appointment.

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Help generate new projects by developing and submitting grant applications and proposals.

• Initiate and maintain collaborator relationships, with research service providers, and other relevant research entities.

• Develop projects to include participating in research design, identifying participants, determining data elements, selecting or developing measurement tools, and completing deliverables.

• Maintain the integrity of sampling and data collection efforts.

• Data analysis, including graphical representations of the data, preparation of datasets for statistical analysis, and descriptive analysis, reviewing quantitative data output for accuracy.

• Develop, submit, and present conference presentations and help publish manuscripts.

• May perform other duties as assigned.
