Job Summary
Post-Doctoral Fellow- Laboratory for Energy metabolism (E-Lab) / Division of Metabolic Disorders, CHOC Children’s
The candidate will join a fully equipped laboratory devoted to the study of mitochondrial diseases and related conditions. Under the guidance of a Senior Scientist, this position will be responsible for the design and execution of studies to assess cellular energy metabolism and BH4-related pathways in fibroblasts, iPSC–derived neuronal cells, and animal tissues. Ideal candidate would possess experience in cell culture, generation of iPSCs and in-vitro experiments related to energy metabolism, and REDOX status. Experience with the use of a Seahorse Bioanalyzer, HPLC system, flow-cytometer and animal studies (behavioral analyses, animal necropsies, etc) is desired.Pay Range
Minimum $66,258 Midpoint $87,792 Maximum $109,305Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
