- Collaboration and networking across dozens of postdoctoral scientists and other researchers
- Unravel the biological functions of key lysosomal modulators and evaluate the impact of therapeutic modulation on the progression of neurodegeneration and associated fluid and imaging biomarker changes
- Explore novels mechanisms in delivering therapeutics into lysosomes and other cellular compartments
- Work with others across therapeutic areas in a highly collaborative environment
- Identify areas of key need across clinical development and champion creative solutions to address those needs. Maintain external awareness and learning
- Present findings and publish in high quality peer-reviewed journals
- PhD in Neuroscience, Cell Biology or other related field
- Strong background in Neurodegeneration and/or lysosome biology research preferred
- Proactive and highly motivated individual who has a strong desire in performing ground breaking translational research
- Excellent communicator (oral and written) with presentation experience, along with a strong publication record.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting
- Proficient in cell/tissue culture, molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
- Prior working experience with Alzheimer’s disease or other neurodegenerative mouse models
- Familiar with imaging techniques such as confocal and two-photon microscopy
- Experience in transcriptomic or proteomic analysis is a plus

Some Possible Responsibilities In This Role
We are seeking a results-oriented post-doctoral scientist with strong research and communication skills to contribute to highly visible research projects. This work will focus on investigating mechanisms of lysosomal dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases.Basic Qualifications

This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend to 3 years and for maximum of up to 4 years. You will have opportunities to apply for full time positions after your duration is complete.
