      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate on research involving classroom discourse data in American Sign Language and English
      - Lead or co-lead manuscript development for publications
      - Develop new ideas for collaborative research and grant proposals
      - Lead preparation of posters/presentations for conferences
      - Document lab progress, organize meetings, and co-supervise research assistants

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Doctoral Degree in Linguistics, Psychology, or related field
      - Sign language research experience
      - Conversational fluency in American Sign Language
      - Experience with observational and experimental studies
      - Ability to manage confidential data and assist with IRB applications

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with grant proposal development
      - Prior work in collaborative research projects
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills
      - Familiarity with classroom discourse data analysis
      - Ability to work effectively in a team environment
