Doctoral Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or closely related field in hand by October 1, 2025.Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience in constructing succinct zero-knowledge proof systems, folding schemes, and related topics — both at a theoretical level involving security proofs and other mathematical analysis, and implementation level where actual systems for these proofs are developed for deployment in larger real world applications. An ideal candidate would have multiple publications on folding schemes and succinct proofs in top tier conferences, and a doctoral degree and/or postdoc experience (e.g., if the doctoral degree spanned less than four years).Brief Description of Duties:
The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigator Dr. Omkant Pandey in the Stony Brook University Department of Computer Science . The incumbent will conduct research and ensure that all experiments are appropriately conducted following the policies and procedures of Stony Brook University.● Within the predetermined research scope and methodology, conduct original research in Computer Science, including conceiving new approaches, performing the required analysis/experiments.
● Collaborate with the PI and his group including literature search, presentation of latest research on this topic and utilizing specialized skills to use/modify them for the needs of various projects.
● Participate in manuscript writing for publication in scientific journals and presentations.
● Other duties as assigned, such as attending scientific conferences and meetings
