Campbell Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85724 USA Position Highlights The Department of Pediatrics is seeking candidates for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I or II for the research laboratory of Emmanuel Katsanis, MD to pursue studies in transplant and tumor immunology. Research involves murine bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell transplantation and tumor models. Studies may also include use of human cells and humanized NSG mouse models. Ongoing research includes novel approaches in activating anti-tumor responses, strategies to alter immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, immunomodulation in murine BMT models, and donor graft manipulation and pharmacological interventions.
Candidates should have a PhD or MD and a strong foundation in cellular and/or tumor immunology. Candidates with a background in immunology and experience with mouse models are of particular interest. The successful candidate will join a team working in a research field with promising clinical applications.
