What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Synthesize, integrate, and analyze large, diverse datasets obtained from remote sensing platforms
- Develop pipelines for multi-source data integration systems in agriculture
- Work on measuring, monitoring, reporting, and verification (MMRV) projects related to climate smart practices
- Support the development of digital twin systems, models, and user interfaces for visualizations and predictions
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and support grant writing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD in computer science, data science, geospatial science/engineering, remote sensing, or related discipline
- Experience in building data models using Python or other statistical and/or mathematical programming packages
- Proficiency in handling data obtained from remote sensing platforms, especially satellite imagery
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to publish in high?quality peer?reviewed journals
