      Grade 5: £25,742 - £29,605 ( A revised salary range for this grade of £27,979 to £32,332 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)

      College of Science and Engineering / School of Biological Sciences

      Full-time: 35 hours per week

      Open-ended: permanent

      We are looking for an experienced, well-organised and enthusiastic administrator who can provide a high-quality service to prospective and current research students as well as their academic supervisors.

      The Opportunity:

      The successful candidate will provide support for the Graduate School’s research programmes from recruitment and admissions through to graduation. Ideally, candidates will have Higher Education administration experience, with knowledge of University of Edinburgh student regulations and policies, and an understanding of the EUCLID operating system. However, we also welcome external applications.

      The successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days in the office, with home/hybrid working available.

      Your skills and attributes for success:

      • Excellent administrative skills.
      • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
      • A flexible, friendly and helpful approach.
      • An ability to interpret policy, regulations and legislation.
