Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Power BI and related technologies as well as domain experience in Strategic Sourcing and Consumer Goods Risk Management. This is a work-from-home position with a day shift schedule and no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
· Lead the design and development of Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
· Oversee the implementation of Power Apps and MS Power Automate to streamline business processes.
· Provide expertise in Power BI Service to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
· Develop and maintain data models in Power BI to support complex analytical requirements.
· Utilize Mash Up Language and DAX in Power BI to create advanced data transformations and calculations.
· Implement Azure Analysis Services to enhance data analysis capabilities.
· Leverage MS Excel for data manipulation and integration with Power BI.
· Manage database and SQL tasks to ensure data integrity and availability.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data management and reporting.
· Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the value of Power BI solutions.
· Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards.
· Stay updated with the latest advancements in Power BI and related technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
· Possess a strong background in Power BI Report Builder Power Apps MS Power Automate and Power BI Service.
· Demonstrate expertise in data modeling Mash Up Language and DAX within Power BI.
· Have experience with Azure Analysis Services and MS Excel for data analysis.
· Show proficiency in database management and SQL.
· Exhibit domain knowledge in Strategic Sourcing and Consumer Goods Risk Management.
· Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.
· Be self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
· Have a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
· Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
· Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business needs.
· Have a track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
· Be adaptable to changing business requirements and technological advancements.
Certifications Required
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
The annual salary for this position is between $[130,000 – 140,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
