Join our dynamic pharmaceutical IT team, where we deliver high-quality reporting solutions tailored to the needs of our business stakeholders. We are looking for a talented Power BI Report Tester with strong SQL skills to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Power BI reporting team to understand report requirements and design specifications. Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for Power BI reports. Validate data quality and integrity by writing and executing complex SQL queries. Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data and reports. Work closely with developers to assist in troubleshooting data and report issues. Participate in requirement analysis, ensuring understanding of stakeholder needs for accurate testing. Assist in the implementation of best practices for report testing processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries for data validation and analysis. Basic knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools and understanding of report testing methodologies. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying and resolving data discrepancies. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously. Familiarity with QA methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the pharmaceutical IT sector. Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. Certification in Power BI or SQL-related courses is a strong advantage.About the company
