      Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer

      Job Description

      Our Client is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design, testing, and debugging of power converters. You will be responsible for developing products from concept through to high-volume production, focusing on advanced power electronics such as inverters and converters using high-power components in the range of hundreds of kilowatts.

      Responsibilities

      • Design, develop, and test power electronics including inverters and converters.
      • Utilize high-power components for advanced electronics development.
      • Engage in schematic capture, debug, and component selection.
      • Work on power electronics circuit design including 3-phase inverters.
      • Conduct hardware design using tools like Altium and LTSpice.
      • Perform digital and analog design for DC/AC circuits and motors.
      • Support new product development and next-generation high power technology.

      Essential Skills

      • Expertise in power electronics and circuit design.
      • Proficiency in schematic capture and hardware design tools such as Altium and LTSpice.
      • Strong understanding of 3-phase power systems.
      • Experience with debugging power electronic circuits.
      • Familiarity with SiC and GaN devices-based power converter design.
      • Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DC/AC electronics load, and power sources.
      • Simulation experience with Matlab Simulink, PLECS, and LTSpice.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $105.00/hr.
