      LCRA's Plant Support Services Group is seeking a motivated and detailed individual to join its Maintenance Planning Team! This facility is located in Bastrop, TX. As a Power Plant Planner, your skills and experience will be utilized to process work orders daily, create job plans, create and maintain PMs, develop cost estimates, create requisitions, compose scopes of work, research and procure parts, plan outages, and maintain an overall maintenance backlog. The ability to multitask and solve complex problems is a must. This will entail prioritizing your daily workload with other demanding work. Most of the time, you will work independently with minimal guidance. You will be a resource for colleagues with less experience. At times, you may direct the work of other staff members.       You will be trusted to:

      - Develop job plans/work scopes for core maintenance personnel and contractors.
      - Work with maintenance, safety, environmental, and engineering staff to develop and update planned and preventative maintenance for plant equipment.
      - Purchase equipment and materials by use of a ProCard in accordance with approved Supply Management Processes and procedures. Review and sign off on invoices as warranted.
      - Develop scopes of work for outside services. Evaluate bids, recommend best evaluated bidders and develop recommendations for management approval.
      - Perform work by traveling independently or with other staff to other locations as necessary to gather information for job planning and/or to support where additional resources are needed.

      You qualify with:

      - Nine or more years of experience in industrial (power, petrochemical, pulp/paper, steel, etc) plant operations, maintenance or engineering or other relevant experience.
      - A degree(s) in power generation, engineering, business, science, math or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

      You are a great fit with:

      - Experience in operating and maintaining conventional gas fired and combustion turbine-based power plants.
      - Experience and knowledgeable background related to Instrumentation and Controls.
      - Experience in maintenance planning principles, including work package development, and PM development.
      - Experience in developing and implementing CMMS processes.
      - Experience with Maximo
