- Semester students: May 20th to July 26th
- Quarter students: June 24th to August 30th
- Collaborate with users and IT resources to identify and develop functional and process requirements, and review and advise on solution recommendations.
- Develop workflow and process automation solutions on Office 365 Platform Services.
- Connect technological solutions with user and agency needs.
- Analyze, define, estimate, and document work Level of Effort.
- Participate in our Citizen Development Learning communities through governance, standards and engagement in learning/sharing.
- Citizen Development Applications Inventory, Analysis and building an Application Tracking Solution
- Citizen Development Documentation for Best Practices and Training
- Work on short term tasks to provide technical and project support for the Collaboration & Productivity Services team
- Office 365 Power Application and Power Automate, platform, client/app and browser user interface solution configuration and application development
- Office 365 Power BI report and dashboard development in support of the Power Applications
- Scripting Languages: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Agile development methodologies, techniques, and principles
- Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Microsoft Training Course: Power Platform App Maker Associate preferred, not required
- Work is performed in a standard office environment.

This is a paid internship, range of $19/hr - $35/hr (depending on role and qualifications) for those currently pursuing undergraduate degrees and higher rates for those currently pursuing graduate level degrees.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Sound Transit’s Information Technology department oversees tools and technologies our internal business teams use to transform and manage their business processes throughout the Puget Sound region – Link, Sounder, ST Express, and Tacoma Link. The Citizen Development Applications intern will have an opportunity to be a part of the team that oversees our business transformation tools and services and learn how they enable teams to manage their work for a large regional transit system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be a current college student in good academic standing, enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline or relevant two-year certificate.
