Develop Power Apps: Lead the design , build, deploy, and document engaging Canvas and Model-driven Apps with a focus on usability and efficiency.
Lead the design, dev elopment, and delivery of business solutions using Power Platform tools such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Power Pages.
Define and implement best practices to enhance team efficiency, including data governance, solution design, and technical standards.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Automation, Software Development, SharePoint, and Power BI teams, to deliver cohesive solutions.
Integrate Systems: Connect Power Apps with Dataverse, Power Automate, and third-party APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
Implement Custom Logic: Use Power FX, Power Automate / Logic Apps to create advanced functionality, automate processes, and enhance user experience.
Enhance App Functionality: Develop complex formulas, dynamic controls, and responsive layouts to optimize usability across devices.
Provide Setup, Support, and Training: Configure user accounts, manage access permissions, and provide technical support to ensure successful adoption and ongoing app success.
Ensure Quality: Conduct thorough testing and code reviews to maintain high standards of performance, functionality, and security.
Optimize for Scalability: Refine apps for responsive design and scalability across different platforms and screen sizes.
Develop and Maintain Reusable Assets: Create and manage branding elements, layouts, connectors, flows, and templated Canvas Apps to streamline development.
3 years+ Experience with Power Apps: Ideally covering some areas of Power Automate , Dynamics 365, Power Pages, and Power BI
Experience building and optimizing Power Apps solutions tailored for frontline staff, focusing on simplicity, speed, and ease of use, ensuring seamless daily operations.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform components, environments, storage, security and administration.
Proven Experience: Demonstrated track record in developing Power Apps on the Microsoft Power Platform.
UI/UX Principles: Solid understanding of responsive design and intuitive user experiences.
Database Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, and basic relational database concepts.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Power Platform Certifications: Such as the Power Platform Developer Associate.
Knowledge of Agile Development: Processes and best practices.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Power FX, formulas, and custom scripting.
System Integrations: Experience linking Power Apps with Power Automate, Dataverse, and third-party APIs.
Good working knowledge of JavaScript, C#, REST APIs, SQL and custom connectors

About the role
As a Power Apps Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying dynamic business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create applications that drive efficiency and business growth. This role involves working on both Canvas and Model-driven Apps, optimizing them for usability, performance, and scalability, while adhering to best practices and standards in solution design and development.

Support office roles will be headquartered across McKell, Parramatta and Gosford. We will consider role headquarters outside of the above locations where the role can reasonably be performed from that location taking into consideration the operational, financial and customer requirements of the role, and an ability to attend a NSW Government workplace as required . At the point an employee is notified of our intention to assign them to a role, the relevant leader will discuss headquarter options.
Salary Service NSW Grade 9/10 with the base salary for this role starting at $126,898 base plus superannuation
