Support our clients in delivering the energy transition working with leading energy system operators, utilities, and energy companies across the public and private sectors.
Bring extensive knowledge and experience in electricity transmission and/or distribution to support the implementation of energy technology (including renewables) and the delivery of transformation projects!
Shape the offshore transmission network in the UK, ensuring the development of a secure, reliable, and economic power system.
Project handle and reporting of technical studies to be delivered to quality requirements, timely and within budget, respecting established governance and controls.
Advise leaders in every project phase and shape the change towards tomorrow's technology leadership with them.
Collaborate within a team that is responsible for the integration of modern technologies.
An engineering degree or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the energy industry, in the UK or Europe.
Technical knowledge of power systems, renewable grid technology and transmission and distribution network infrastructure.
Proficiency in project and programme management, governance scheduling, programme controls, reporting and change management.
Identify future power system needs and possible solutions by carrying out power system analysis such as steady state load flow, voltage and short circuit.
Develop and appraise system reinforcement options across multiple criteria including technical, cost and environment.
Conduct cost benefit assessments.
Resolve efficient methods for connecting generation and demand customers to the transmission system and identifying associated network reinforcements.
Design & develop single line, schematic diagrams and protection scheme for site electrical power distribution equipment and systems.
Knowledge of the UK power system and industry, including regulatory aspects (OFGEM RIIO ED2/3)
Experience in carrying out power system modelling and analysis using software such as PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, etc.
Knowledge of operational challenges using experience of the Grid, Network and Market Codes as well as technical policies, operational standards, and engineering procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively to influence stakeholders.
Proven history of successful project delivery and solution-oriented thinking.
