- Previous SystmOne experience

Job summary
Tamar Valley Health is an innovative and forward thinking practice with a strong multidisciplinary team including nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical pharmacists, general practice paramedics, social prescriber, MH practitioner and a women's health nurse, working alongside experienced GPs and managers and supported by an efficient administrative team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a practice nurse (treatment room) to join our nursing team on a temporary maternity leave cover contract (possibility of permanent hours). The successful applicant will be working across both practice sites and will need to have transport/ driving licence.
Main duties of the job
Primary duties and areas of responsibility:
Child and adult vaccination & immunisations. Cervical screening, wound care, clip & suture removal, general nursing duties.
Provide nursing treatments to patients in participation with general practitioners or
independently to agreed guidelines.
Provide general and specific health assessments and screening to the Practice
population (within agreed guidelines).
Maintain supplies and equipment use.
Maintain accurate patient records, disease indices etc, and attend to necessary claim
form documentation in accordance with NMC Guidelines.
Perform cervical screening and promote breast awareness - following appropriate training.
Involvement in aspects of health management and promotion, either to individual patients or in clinics following agreed guidelines.
To participate in team training sessions and meetings.
Work as part of the multidisciplinary team.
