      Job summary

      North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre are looking for a part-time, experienced practice nurse to work across our Chelmsford practices.Working under the direct supervision of the senior team, and in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the practice nurse will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of patient care.

      Main duties of the job

      • Childhood immunisations.
      • Cytology.
      • Wound dressings.
      • Childhood and adult injections.
      • ECGs/BPs.
      • Health monitoring and management.
      • NHS travel vaccines.
      • Asthma or diabetes management (qualified or willingness to undertake training).

      • A relevant nursing degree.
      • Current NMC registration with an active PIN.

      Experience

      • Experience ideally working within primary care.
      • Compassionate, empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work as well as valuing the dignity of our patients, relatives, carers and colleagues.
      • Knowledge and application of supporting long-term conditions.
      • Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the NHS.
