      27 to 37.5 hours a week

      We are looking for a motivated practice nurse to provide safe, high quality primary care nursing services to the practice population.

      Main duties of the job

      Practice independently in accordance with RCN code of conduct.

      Undertake patient nursing services including:-

      Wound Care

      Vaccinations and immunisations

      Smears

      Travel Clinic

      Health education

      Manage patient samples, swabs and specimens

      Stock taking and ordering

      Venepuncture

      ECGs

      About us

      A well organised, friendly GP training practice with 20,000 patients. The practice has 10 GPs, an ANP, minor illness and chronic disease team who are supported by a large administration and reception team.

      We are situated in Caldicot, with a branch surgery in Magor, South Monmouthshire. Easily commutable from Bristol, Cardiff and surrounding areas.

      To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.
