- Dressings and wound care to include suture removal.
- Administer IM injection and vaccinations under PGDs.
- Cervical smear tests (training available).
- Leg ulcer care including multi-layer and pressure dressings.
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions, providing education and support to patients.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with confidentiality regulations.
- Provide health education to patients and their families regarding disease prevention and health promotion.
- Monitor stock levels and support with ordering.
- Ensure the practice environment is clean, safe, and well-organised.

Job summary
Overview We are seeking a Practice Nurse to join our friendly and experienced nursing team. The post is available for three days a week with up to 16-24 hours available and negotiable working days and hours.
Applications are welcomed from experienced Practice Nurses. This post is also suitable for an experienced community / acute nurse looking to transition into Practice Nursing as further training is available.
We are a well-established training practice and further training is available to the right candidate.
