      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Verify information on inventory counts for all materials needed according to schedule.
      • Operate elevators from pre-batch to kitchen platform for the distribution of material.
      • Assemble/operate food pump, slurry machine, Stephen mixer, cheese chipper and shredder.
      • Operate scale and verify accurate weights.
      • Verify materials and quantities being used (-10º freezer, 40º cooler, spice room, and warehouse).
      • Verify 95% yields and P.C.
      • Operate load cells, Genies System, water meter, oil meter, air mixer, agitator, cooker, and cherry barrel.
      • Operate within compliance of USDA and TQA program standards.
      • Ensure that recipe book cooking procedures are being followed.
      • Maintain work area clean and always organized.
      • Work under a team concept.
      • Use a rod height.
      • Read and understand the concept of the production schedule.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • High School diploma or GED preferred.
      • Must have basic Math skills and able to pass a math exam with a score of 75%.
      • Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack to move materials.
      • Must be able to read schedules, recipe pages, and resource numbers.
      • Able to pull schedules and report on cold-food, spice production, and cheese blends.
      • Must be able to calculate recipes, cycle count, and operate scales.
      • Good attendance record.
      • Must be able to read and write English.
      • Able to perform under extreme temperatures.
      • Must be able to lift 50lbs.

      SALARY: ENTRY LEVEL 4 (Non-Exempt)
