    • POSITION OVERVIEW: Pre-K Ed Tech II or III (Full Time) - Catherine Morrill Day Nursery (PPS Partner Site)

      Portland Public Schools is seeking a kind and competent Ed Tech II or Ed Tech III to support the Pre-K Program at Catherine Morrill Day Nursery, which is one of PPS’ community partner sites. Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the selected candidate assists teachers by performing a variety of tasks that promote student learning and well-being. Duties include helping with lunch prep and clean up duties for Pre-K students, preparation of curriculum materials, curriculum implementation, shared monitoring of students in the classroom and on the playground, and assisting with general classroom management.

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

      • Applicants must have the ability to support and supervise play and learning with Pre-K children in the classroom and on the playground
      • Applicants must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
