Job Description

- Must determine and maintain the proper scheduling of the route to ensure timely delivery of product and avoid out of stocks.
- Maintain good rotation of stock, fill shelves, face and front cold box and hot shelf.
- Seek out new opportunities in every account (i.e., displays, P.O.S).
- Maintain and build inventory to each account.
- Sell in product that is on promotion and have knowledge of packaging in every account.
- Balance time spent in each account against the potential of the account .
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate; Minimum 1-2 years’ work experience in sales wine, spirits, and beer marketing and promoting experience; or possession of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Experience to work outside of normal shift hours to accommodate various employee schedules.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing auditing safety inspections. This includes knowledge of delivery and distribution process and procedures.
- Knowledge of products, competitive conditions, market trends and be able to cultivate an action plan to grow the customer’s business.
- Strong communication skills and computer skills with Microsoft systems.
- Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
- Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force on a regular.
- Employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or craw
- Employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Exposure to weather and temperature variations.
- To help load/unload beer cases at events and at account locations.
