      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate financial clearance activities including patient demographic and insurance verification
      - Obtain referral authorizations and precertification numbers for scheduled services
      - Collaborate with healthcare staff and external stakeholders to resolve financial clearance issues
      - Document and maintain accurate records of referrals and authorizations in the Epic system
      - Handle patient interactions to gather necessary information for financial compliance and reimbursement

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
      - 1-3 years of hospital registration and/or insurance experience, with at least one year in a customer service role
      - General knowledge of healthcare terminology and CPT-ICD10 codes
      - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
      - Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suite applications

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of and experience with Epic systems
      - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
      - Familiarity with revenue cycle processes and insurance requirements
