      Responsibilities

      We are seeking a PRECOM PERSONNEL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN for NOBLIS MSD's Fleet Introduction Project providing Pre-Commissioning Support to newly constructed ships' Prospective Commanding Officers, Executive Officers and Department Heads. Fleet Introduction work is performed in an integrated support team environment that includes government and NOBLIS teams that work closely with Program Executive Officer Ships, the Supervisor of Shipbuilding and Repair, BUPERS, Type Commanders, Regional Support Centers, and the crewmembers from ships under construction.

      Candidate will provide PERSONNEL support as follows:

      • Assist command personnel in obtaining security badge for access to various facilities.
      • Manage database, update status and reporting of all reporting personnel.
      • Receive, review and distribute Command correspondence and take appropriate action.
      • Maintain correspondence and serial logs.
      • Track the progress of the POA&M for Commanding Officer and Executive Officer and assist with resolution for delinquent requirements.
      • Assist in routing entitlement requests through ship's chain of command and to Personnel Support Centers.
      • Process incoming personnel with the checkin or checkout process, as well as handling SALESFORCE transactions and travel requirements through the Defense Travel System.
      • Preparing and formatting command correspondence for routing and approval.
      • Processing travel in DTS and managing travel database.
      • Handle sensitive details privately that are FOUO in nature.
      • Draft and compose professional emails for command leadership
      • Provide the Ship's with programs, documentation and deliverables electronically during crew development through move-aboard.
      • Ability to organize tasks and services and to adjust to competing priorities. Pascagoula builds as many as 5 hulls at a time and milestone timelines change frequently.

      Assist in other administrative areas within our group of Admin, Personnel, Travel and Security and other duties when required.

      Required Qualifications

      High School Diploma

      • Understanding of Navy personnel and security terms and practices
      • Strong computer skills in the MS Office suite of software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
      • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
      • Must have interim Secret prior to start and ability to obtain Top Secret after start

      Desired Qualifications

      • Experience with NSIPS, SALESFORCE, e-APP, DISS, DTS, and other personnel, security and travel applications.
      • Effective written and oral communication skills are essential in this team orientated-customer service position.
      • Former Personnelman (PN) or Yeoman (YN)

      Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
