What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide premium or elite level support and service to members
- Handle complex member scenarios and provide resolution for escalated and repeat calls
- Collaborate with clinical partners to resolve member concerns and connect them with resources
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for benefits and claims
- Support, coach, and provide feedback to other advocates
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience advocating on behalf of members or customers
- Proficiency in using computer and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with medical terminology and health plan documents
- Experience working with vulnerable populations and promoting behavior change
- Sales or account management experience
- Customer service or advocate experience
- Claims processing experience
- Experience within a member-focused healthcare environment
