Position InformationPosting Number ST001031 Position Title Premier Team Leader Student Worker Department Office of Student Engagement & Belonging Division Student Affairs and Athletics Supervisor Meyani Montano Supervisor Title Director for Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging Description of Job Duties · Assist incoming first-year students in their transition to college life by providing mentorship, programming, and opportunities to engage with other Premier Scholars.· Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in leading workshops and activities, during the summer component of the program and throughout the academic year.
· Serve as a role model and mentor to students in the Premier Scholars Program and demonstrate leadership to the North Central College community.· Facilitate various one-on-one mentoring sessions with assigned Premier Scholar Mentees during their first academic year. Mentoring sessions are related to the successful adjustment to both academic and student life in college.
Attend all required spring 2025 and summer 2025 paraprofessional training workshops. Details of workshops will be provided by supervisor.Do the job duties for this position include any driving requirements? No Job Qualifications · Maintain cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 or above.· Maintain good student standing in terms of on and off-campus conduct.· Confirmed plans for continued enrollment as a full-time student at North Central College for the 2025-2026 academic year.· Show and articulate an appreciation of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.· Demonstrate excellent social and communication skills.· Ability to work in and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
