Job Description
- Req#: 54431
- Cook all food according to predetermined menu specifications and guidelines
- Portioning of all food according to predetermined weight specifications and portion sizes in order to maintain cost controls
- Operating all necessary food preparation equipment including fryers, broilers, slicers, pizza ovens and grill
- Proper rotation of all perishable food items and adherence to FIFO standards
- Responsible for the upkeep of hot and cold foods and refills menu items when the supply runs low
- Set up and break down cook's station, stirring, watching temperatures, preparing vegetables, etc.
- Knowledge and familiarity of entire kitchen operation
- Maintains clean orderly work place
- Prepare for a rush period, so as to work without getting behind
- Adhere to Company sanitation standards
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
- Pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and serving people
- Maintain company and health sanitation requirements at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Able to interact with others in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
- Ability to perform basic math
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering large loads weighing up to 200 lbs.

Summary:
Responsible for preparing a variety of food items, cleaning kitchen and other areas and maintaining inventory rotation.
