Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! A fast-growing school district located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves more than 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 11:30am
Position Summary: The candidate hired for this position will provide care and assistance to young children as an ECFE Teacher Assistant.
Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required. Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of young children are required. Previous experience with young children in a supportive, nurturing environment is required.
Salary: Pursuant to the Educational Support Professionals' Collective Bargaining Agreement, this is a Grade 9 position with the hourly rate from $17.92- $24.54 based on experience plus a generous full-time benefits package that starts on the first day of employment.
