- Process repeat prescription requests via telephone, online systems, and in person
- Liaise with GPs, pharmacists, and other practice staff to ensure safe and timely medication issuing
- Monitor and manage prescription queries from patients and pharmacies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data is updated in the clinical system
- Assist with medication reviews and alerts
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and GDPR regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients in a professional manner
- Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative setting is desirable
- Familiarity with EMIS is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Understanding of repeat prescription processes and medication safety (training can be provided)

Oaklands Health Centre is a well-established GP practice located in Hythe, Kent, dedicated to providing comprehensive NHS services to the local community.The practice offers a wide range of healthcare services and is part of Folkestone, Hythe and Rural PCN.
The clinical team comprises of 2 Partners and a team of experienced GPs, nurse practitioners, practice nurses and healthcare assistants, all working collaboratively to deliver patient-centred care. Oaklands Health Centre is also a training practice, accredited for the education of Foundation Year 2 (FY2) doctors, reflecting its commitment to the development of future healthcare professionals.
The Practice serves a patient population of 12,000 (approximately).The Practice is part of the Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group having been rated as "Good" across all domains - safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led by the CQC.
