Job Description

- Utilize hand/power tools
- Changing out/Replacing Die Sets
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examing form and texture of parts
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
- Troubeshoots and maintains production equipment, which includes hydraulic, mechanic, and pneumatic systems
- Supports the definition and maintenance of equipment specification including pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication standards
- Recalibration of Presses
- Process Drawings/Print Readings
- Adjusting/Verifying Die Heights
- Mechanical Aptitude to troubleshoot failures
- Forklift Operation
- Recalibration of Presses

- High School Diploma or GED

Pay Rate; up to $20.00 per hour
General Description of the Press Operator:
Operating and troubleshooting warm forging presses to produce differential gears. Utilizing gauges and visual inspection to ensure that parts are meeting customer requirements.
