  Basic Qualifications

  Associate’s degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

  Responsibilities for this Position

  Manager is looking for the candidate to have: 3M maintenance planner experience, knowledge of Maximo SW products, and Excel data base skills.

As a Preventative Maintenance Advance Planner, you’ll utilize your skills and talents to represent the production and material planning function on concurrent engineering teams. Essentially, you’ll compile and monitor monthly production schedules, create complex material structures in the material planning tool and identify process flow improvements and implement. You’ll also prepare labor and material forecasts as requested and interface periodically with supply chain or suppliers on delivery issues and problem resolution.

  The Preventative Maintenance Advance Planner will:

  • Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled IAW government policies to achieve maximum equipment operational readiness onboard US Naval ships
  • Engage in coordination of the Preventative Maintenance schedule and help identify materials needed to accomplish preventative maintenance during all ship availabilities
  • Candidate is expected to be proficient in U.S Navy 3-M Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) policies and NAVSEALOGCEN policies
  • Collect meters and other data as required onboard assigned ships
  • Be familiar with MAXIMO toolset to include java tool set, excel sheets, and Kurve
  • Have advanced knowledge of U.S. Navy Planned Maintenance System (PMS)

  Workplace Options:

  • This position is considered a "Flex" position where you would be allowed to work from home over 50% of the time. The remaining days you would work in either National City or San Diego, CA so you must live near enough to our facilities in order to come into the office when needed. Note, the position requires the Advance Planner to conduct bi-weekly in-house meetings with the customer and conduct monthly ship checks on board SD based ships. We also have an in person meeting once a month.

  This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

  Combined Salary Range

  USD $36.11 - USD $38.74 /Hr.
