      The Pricing Analyst is responsible for accurately pricing inventory on Assurant’s online sales platform and setting target prices on any off-platform sales. They are responsible for pricing and sales analysis, inventory flow, and operational coordination for our partner programs. They will be a key player in the overall effectiveness of our organization by setting competitive prices and implementing pricing strategies to maximize asset value and sales velocity.

      What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

      • Manage the daily/weekly pricing of all items listed on Assurant’s online sales platform
      • Provide detailed weekly pricing and sales analysis of market pricing trends, suggesting adjustments as needed
      • Monitor sell-through rates for all items to ensure inventory is selling at correct speed
      • Manage weekly operational tasks to support key program initiatives
      • Coordinate with external partners and client relationship teams on special orders, price approvals, and reporting
      • Perform on-demand analyses and develop reports as required by senior management
      • Complete other miscellaneous inventory and sales transactions as needed
      • Coordinate with Inventory and Shipping teams where necessary
      • Lead small projects to completion
      • Act as Subject Matter Expert for pricing strategies and methodologies

      What are the requirements needed for this position?

      • 2+ years’ experience working in an analytical or financial role
      • A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the aptitude to work with large data sets
      • Problem solving and investigative skills
      • Ability to provide detailed and thorough analysis with consistency and accuracy
      • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management team
      • Work effectively with internal and external partners
      • Comfortable with change and ambiguity
      • Very high attention to detail

      What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

      • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or supply chain management preferred
      • Proficiency in an inventory management system is a plus
      • Experience with ERP systems, Oracle is a plus
      • Knowledge of enterprise reporting systems (ex. Power BI)

      Pay Range:

      $62,000.00 - $103,400.00

      Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
