      The opportunity:

      As a Pricing Analyst for our Corporate Pricing team, you will support the business by providing product and pricing terms for our corporate clients. In this exciting role, you will develop your core actuarial skills including pricing, experience reviews, and reporting and work with a range of stakeholders to provide effective and sustainable pricing solutions for our clients.

      This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative team and an organisation that will truly support and grow your actuarial career. You will work on diverse and interesting pricing assignments and have exposure to a wide range of clients that are crucial to supporting the growth of AIA.

      This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in either Melbourne or Sydney.

      To do this successfully you will:

      • Ensure corporate pricing terms are consistent with Risk Preference Statement and support installation of policies on the administration system for corporate clients

      • Support the Product team with due diligence reviews of customer disclosure material

      • Support the Operations teams to ensure efficient policy insurance administration

      • Work with our Strategic Partnership and Business Development teams to manage reinsurance terms for new corporate opportunities and new business tenders

      • Ensure pricing meets AIA’s required profit margins and return on capital measures

      • Conduct loss ratio analysis reviews to determine profitability and experience for large key corporate accounts

      S uccessful applications will demonstrate:

      • You are studying towards your Actuarial Fellowship qualifications with a keen interest in pricing. Some experience in an actuarial or pricing role will be highly regarded.
      • You’re an analytic thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. You’re also an excellent communicator backed with sound analysis skills which allow you to provide meaningful insights that can influence pricing decisions.
