About the role

We are now recruiting for Pricing & Promotions Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team.

This role would suit someone with a solid administrational background and a keen eye for detail. Providing a proactive and varied support role to Account Managers & Finance team you will be managing, maintaining and evaluating promotional activity & the resolution of price and other promotional claims. Responsible for maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of customer price files and advance pricing functions.

Based in our Bristol offices in the city centre with flexibility to work from home 2/3 days per week.

This role is full-time and fixed term for 12 months.

Key responsibilities include:

• Review customer and channel levels of promotional spend and net revenue to identify errors, trends of performance and reasons for performance vs plan
• Verify, challenge and monitor promotional spend in order to maintain accurate promotional accruals and limit potential audit claims.
• Organise and conduct regular reviews with Account Managers / Finance Analysts to ensure all company Promotional liabilities are recorded
• Organise and conduct promotion accrual releases in accordance with company policy’s and working with Account Managers & Finance Analysts.
• Assist the business sales teams with Pre-& Post evaluation of promotional activity i.e. volume uplift and profitability.
• Act as a business contact for promotional invoices. Identify, validate and pay promotional invoices to customers and resolve queries.
• Maintain customer adjustment schedules in accordance with company policy, ensuring that accurate pricing is invoiced to the customer and fewer claims received
• Input into promotional and pricing processes, ensuring the processes meet company requirements and provide feedback with ideas / suggestions for changes.
  

What you'll bring:

• Excellent administrational & analytical skills.
• You will be able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• You will be numerate and articulate as well as being an excellent communicator and team player.
