- Develop and prepare Cost Analysis, Commercial Item Determination (CID) and Competitive Analysis on supplier provided data.
- Provide material support documentation and price analysis in support of proposal submissions to U.S. Department of Defense customers.
- Decompose supplier provided proposal and Cost or Pricing Data into constituent estimating elements for analysis and determination of price reasonableness.
- Perform indirect rate analysis and direct labor cost analysis to determine reasonableness of supplier cost burdens applied to direct elements and develop detailed rebuttal position.
- Develop walk-down positions by cost element in order to establish summary conclusions and recommendations regarding supplier pricing and provide basis for negotiations.
- Conduct market research and price analysis to confirm the commerciality of a proposed part.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects as needed that enhances the current proposal and Cost/Price analysis process.
- Be able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written. Includes writing reports of significant complexity and length.
- Utilize analytical and computer skills and various software packages (Excel, Word) to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
- Attention to detail.
- Support the analysis, evaluation, development and implementation process and system improvements within budget while adhering to strict time requirements and schedule.

Required Skills and Education
Required Education:
Bachelor Degree preferably in a business, financial or accounting discipline.
Required SkillsPreferred Skills and Education
Experience in proposal preparation with a working knowledge of Project Finance, Contracts or Subcontract Administration with a working knowledge of Cost & Price Analysis for Department of Defense procurements.
A working understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) with an emphasis on FAR/DFAR compliant proposals.
Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards, Contract Cost Principles and Procedures, and Accounting and Proposal preparation procedures.
