Job Description

- Utilizing analytics tools to draw insights and identify and recommend opportunities to maximize sales and increase profitability
- Developing advanced strategic pricing recommendations for new and existing products by incorporating the entire value chain and external forces
- Acting as a thought partner to key stakeholders for new product launches
- Evaluating price structures and value realization
- Complete competitive price analysis
- Working with industry managers to implement future price changes
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting, marketing, or related fields
- 5+ years of progressive professional experience in pricing strategy and analytics, financial analysis
- Outstanding problem solving and analysis skills, combined with solid business judgement and ability to build and present business cases and gain agreement from key leaders
- Experience working strategic initiatives and the ability to communicate cross-functionally across product marketing, accounting and product development teams
- Demonstrated focus on quality and customer needs with soft skills to work through sensitive business problems and change management
- High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with little supervision and instruction
- Base knowledge of various Caterpillar products, product applications, merchandising programs and business systems is a plus
- Limited travel required (5% of working time).
