      Position: Pricing Coordinator II

      Reports To: Supervisor, Customer Care

      Location: Remote, United States of America

      POSITION SUMMARY:

      Respond to customers with price quotations and product information based on customer requests through emails and Salesforce within a specified timeframe. May provide training and follow-up quote support for customers and distributors. Adhere to all divisional health and safety regulations.

      SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

      This position has a significant impact on sales and the overall image of Thomson, which in turn impacts quality, delivery, cost, and safety. By supporting the sales and channel organizations with quotation management the incumbent makes a direct impact on growth and profitability. Regarding work done to support marketing and operations groups, the incumbent provides the Voice of the Customer critical to driving improvements and indirectly influences the entire workforce. The impact can be measured through departmental PD and KPI methods.

      KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

      Internal: Regional Sales Managers, Field Account Managers, Customer Care Team, Application Engineering Team, Customer Care Management Team, Product Line Managers, Product Specialist and Product Engineers

      External: Distribution, Direct Customers

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.

      • Interpret customer quote requests and respond to customers with pricing quotations based on customer information provided

      • Responsible for product quotations to customer and customer liaison of assigned products for designated territories and accounts

      • May provide training and follow-up quote support for customers and distributors on standard product

      • Prepare formal quotations, and present to customers and sales staff, of company product

      • Provide special quote support to sales staff and product management in determining possible manufacturability of company product per customer requirements

      • Communicate professionally via telephone, e-mail, or fax

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Associate degree (A.A.) from two-year college or university; or one to two years of experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

      • 2-3 years of experience in Customer Service preferred

      • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook).Previous experience with an ERP system preferred

      • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly with a willingness to obtain functional knowledge and understanding of company products, policies, and procedures

      • Excellent oral & written communication skills

      • Superior telephone etiquette

      • Ability to understand and respond to customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

      • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment to improve the service levels to customers

      • Ability to work well in stressful situations and to remain calm and positive

      • Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions

      Expected Salary: $ 39,300 - $ 42,000 + Benefits
