      Job Summary:

      Consolidates and processes data gathering results of demographic information of referral bases (i.e. diagnoses, referral sources, insurance, visit ratio, etc.) for administrative use. Compiles the regulatory compliance components of department. Obtains insurance authorizations and provides updates on coding and billing procedures for department. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact. Applies substantial knowledge and experience to perform a wide range of advanced activities and/or determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals; serves as working supervisor for team or work group.

      Job Requirements:

      Education and Work Experience:

      • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
      • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
      • Five years' relevant experience: Preferred

      Essential Functions:

      • Manages staff competency completion. Monitors staff compliance with documentation, billing, staff requirements and continuing education
      • Coordinates daily activities and functions of PI program. Manages ongoing authorization for Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP) and worker's compensation insurances.
      • Maintains monthly statistics, physician referrals, insurance verifications and authorization. Monitors productivity and charge accuracy.
      • Reviews patient charts for accuracy and treatment outcomes.
      • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
