What will you be doing?

Barclays seeks Prime Derivatives Services – Clearing Management, VP in New York, New York (multiple positions available):

• Determine and implement the business and client strategy
• Manage the revenue and financial resource returns profile, and direct its day-to-day business activities, including functions such as Trade Capture, Futures Deliveries, and Client Onboarding
• Assist with managing the daily Profit and Loss processes and controls for the Prime Derivatives Services (PDS) business
• Provide financial analysis and interpret market and client trends to assist with revenue enhancement and improved client servicing
• Identifying methods of improving controls and processes as they relate to commissions, brokerage and exchange fees to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and P&L (Profit and Loss) controls
• Work across and alongside the PDS Treasury, Capital, Risk, Product and Integration functions, the Sales, Account Management and Client Service teams, and partners in Prime Services and Markets, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Technology and beyond, in order to help the business meet its revenue and returns objectives
• Management of the end-to-end Treasury Futures deliveries process, including coordination with Repo Sales and Trading, determining client pricing, booking client and firm transactions, and ensuring compliance with business control procedures
• Detailed knowledge of the PDS products, including Exchange Traded Derivatives, Cleared Over-the-Counter Derivatives, Foreign Exchange (FX) Prime Brokerage (and other Intermediation products), in order to provide comprehensive business support to clients, stakeholders, and platform
• May telecommute

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation

You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building. Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $155,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
