      J.P. Morgan is a market leader in Prime Financial Services. The Transition Manager is a Front Office role and you will be responsible for converting a sales mandate into a live account by coordinating across Sales and Trading, Credit, Margin Trading, Legal, Account Management, Middle Office and KYC. You will deliver a seamless and timely multi-asset class onboarding for our clients, spanning multiple products, including Equity and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage, Futures and Derivatives Clearing, Equity Derivatives and Repo Financing.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Client engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with primary client contacts, such as COOs, CFOs, and Directors. Translate a client strategy and structure along with their margin and financing needs to the relevant J.P. Morgan products, services, and legal entities. Coordinate with Sales and Margin Trading to identify and deliver business solutions to our clients.
      • Client focus: Ensure that client requirements and Sales mandates are delivered with a sense of urgency. Act as a single point of contact for clients by delivering the firm across business partners during the onboarding. Liaise with third parties involved such as OMS providers and Legal and Consulting firms, while coordinating with our Middle Office who work directly with client vendors and administrators.
      • Project management: Own the delivery of a client onboarding through go-live. Maintain continued progression throughout the life cycle by working collaboratively with partner teams on resolving outstanding items. Proactively provide updates to our clients and J.P. Morgan stakeholders on transition status.
      • Internal Partner Coordination: Coordinate across J.P. Morgan teams globally throughout the transition process. In particular, building strong relationships with all internal partner teams described above in order to facilitate client timelines. Serve as initial point of escalation for internal support teams and our clients.
      • Industry Knowledge: Understand the business and regulatory landscape, inclusive of key changes, which affect both the firm and its clients, such as Non-Cleared Margin Rules and the shortening of the US Settlement Cycle.
      • Data Management: Become the primary point of contact within the team for data aggregation and reporting to stakeholders. Develop and implement processes to allow for tailored communication to partner teams and clients.

      Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

      • Understanding of Prime Financial Services and its product offering, hedge funds, asset managers, and market and regulatory landscape beneficial
      • Ability to build meaningful relationships with both clients and internal partner groups
      • Excellent project management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver within tight and changeable timeframes
      • Confident, proactive self-starter with an ability to work independently but also identify potential issues and escalate when required
      • Inquisitive, analytical and investigative; able to follow through on all aspects of complicated workflows with a hands-on approach
      • Attention to detail; clear and concise communication skills
      • Experience with business analytics to initiate process improvements and standardize data distribution is advantageous
      • FINRA Series 7 licensed or must be obtained in the initial months following hire
      • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
