Principal Advisor Strategy
About the role
Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.
We are looking for a Principal Adviser Strategy to support the development and delivery of the annual Group strategy process with RT ExCo and the Board. The role will be centred on providing analytical and organisational support across a broad range of topics, including:
· Our external strategic context (e.g. evolution of megatrends, industry trends, competitive landscape)
· Group-wide cross-cutting strategic themes (e.g. climate change, energy transition, industrial policies, circularity)
· Group performance (valuations, pipeline growth)
The Principal Adviser will support a small team of Strategy GMs and work closely with subject matter experts across the Product Groups and Functions to identify and explore emerging strategic themes. They will assist in the development of materials for ExCo and the Board and support key strategic projects that have group-level implications.
Working in a highly collaborative setting and tackling a broad range of strategic topics the applicant will:
· Aid in the delivery of the Group strategy process drawing on a network of internal and external subject matter experts
· Provide analytical support to explore strategic themes and trends
· Assist in group level financial analysis
· Prepare materials for ExCo and Board strategy discussions
· Support projects and workshops surrounding key strategic themes
