      Principal Architect

      Location: London

      Job Overview:

      As a Principal Architect / Technology Partner, you will play a critical role in partnering with the client on adoption of advanced technologies and help the Fractal build and scale solutions across market building enterprise grade solutions. You will lead a team of architects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that data solutions meet the business's needs. You will engage with the client stakeholders on the technology front and help co create the engineering roadmap . This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, strong technical skills, strong leadership abilities, presales exposure and a strong communication .
      Key Responsibilities:
      1. Work with client to act at the single point of contact for all engineering initiatives and drives
      2. Provide Architecture roadmap for the Data Management Strategy to be used for various Strategic and Operational reporting requirements.
      3. Develop and maintain a robust data architecture strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals. Design scalable, efficient, and flexible data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
      4. Lead and mentor a team of Architects , Sr data engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of data projects.
      5. Help the client scaling up and implementing multi cloud solutions.
      6. Stay current with emerging technologies , exposure to all clouds and trends in the data engineering and big data space. Evaluate and implement new tools and frameworks as needed.
      7. Implement data security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant data regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Maintain data privacy and security standards.
      8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions accordingly.
      9. Help drive data governance initiatives across the difference solutions

      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
      • Proven experience in data engineering ,application development, Solution architecture with at least 18 years of leadership experience.
      • Proficiency in programming languages such as PySpark , Python, Java, or Scala.
      • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, Data modeling.
      • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
      • Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
      • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
      • Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance regulations.
      • Program and Portfolio management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
